Bright yellow-gold. Complex bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, honeydew, ginger and beeswax. Plump and chewy on the palate, offering ripe orange and melon flavors firmed up by a bitter lemon pith nuance. Finishes clean and chewy, with lingering spiciness and very good persistence. (12/ 2012)
Made by Talbott, the Logan is a full-bodied, luscious California Chardonnay from the winery's Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The 2010 is refreshing while still offering an abundance of fruity richness and the flavors of French oak. It leads with aromas and flavors of pear, melon, and candied citrus, is full and rich in the mouth, and finishes with lingering flavors of toasty vanilla.
