Made by Signorello Winery this Cabernet Sauvignon shows a deft winemaking touch. Aromas of black plums, hints of spice and notes of blueberry pie rise from the glass. On the palate the wine shows good vibrancy with flavors of plum, black raspberry, blueberries and chocolate notes. The wine shows nice balance and tension with good acidity the wine holds together and gives the wine both body and lift. This is a nice every day drinking Cabernet Sauvignon that can pair well with food or be enjoyed on its own without breaking your budget.

Yum! Another score for the domestics! This is wonderful with lively fruit(blue and blackberries), a touch of cedar, and a sleek package. The acid in this makes this an ideal everyday dinner wine, at a tad above cellar temp it's actually quite refreshing!

It's very rare that I can't finish a bottle of wine let alone a glass. I can't believe the high ratings and recommendations for this wine having just purchased two bottles for testing. The other will be returned. This is the first review I've ever written and I feel compelled to do so. I strongly feel this is false advertising. I understand that this is a highly subjective field but something that is so thin, bright and straw-like is anything representative a Californian cabernet.
Do not buy this wine.

I agree with other negative reviews. I had two bottles and I am very disapointed. No nose at all. Hugely acidic even after 6 hours of decanting. Almost no finish or descernable fruit. I do not agree with given ratings. This wine has no structure, complexity or satisfactory drinkability.

Purchased this after reading the reviews and must say I'm very disappointed with this cabernet. Sorry.. it is far from rich or having much of a body.

Very disappointing considering the WE review and user reviews. On opening it had no "nose", this was followed by a flat and dry taste and no finish. This compared unfavorably to other wines in a similar price range at K&L. Try the Conn Creek!

Excellent value wine- could easily be priced in the $20-30 range. Full bodies with a nice finish. Worth a try. Bought two on K and L and am returning to buy more!

Cabernet Sauvignon and Blends

- Cabernet Sauvignon has come a long way from its role as a blending varietal, however dominant, in the wines of Bordeaux. Today it is the most planted red varietal in the world. Identified as a descendent of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, the late-ripening Cabernet Sauvignon needs to be planted in warmer climates to fully ripen. Its small berries can easily be identified for their distinctive blue color, thick skins and high tannins. And while the varietal has its own definitive characteristics: green pepper-like aromas and black currant flavors among them, it is perhaps most prized for its ability to convey terroir, vintage and winemaking. A relatively new varietal, Cabernet Sauvignon started making inroads into the wines of the Médoc and Graves in the late-18th century. Today it is also dominant in the up-and-coming Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux and can also be found in Southwest France. It is the companion varietal to Sangiovese in Italy's Super Tuscans and is planted all over Europe, stretching to lesser-known winegrowing regions like Russia and Lebanon. In the Americas Cabernet Sauvignon has found champions in every nook and cranny of California and among winemakers in Washington, where it complements plantings of Merlot. In South America, Cab thrives in Chile, but can also be found in smaller amounts in Argentina and even in Mexico.
