This is a very satisfying wine. Sweet black cherry aromas also show hints of pumpkin bread, and a definite autumnal baking spice quality. Big and dark fruited on the palate, the wine actually shows drier than one might expect given the aromas, with decent acidity and just enough of that trademark tannat tannin to provide good structure. Truly a unique find, this tannat offers a lot of value for a minimal amount of money. -Joe Manekin, K&L South American Wine Buyer
