1512 Aged Rye Whiskey 375ml

SKU #1081755

Finally we get to see what Sal's amazingly pure rye spirit tastes like after some time in the barrel! From the color alone you would think it's 10 years old, but that's because they aged it in tiny casks to increase the wood contact and accelerate the process. The result is fantastic and serves as a lovely preview into what we can expect in the future. Plenty of pepper on the palate with a nice amount of vanilla from the wood. It's hard to believe that they've come so far so fast, but again it was hard to believe their white rye was so delicious. This is a very limited release and we're getting the largest allocation. Feast on some outstanding, complex, hand-crafted, locally-distilled rye whiskey! -David Driscoll, K&L Spirits Buyer

The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world. - With the explosive growth that California's wine industry has seen the past several years, it's easy to view winemaking and grape growing in the Golden State as a recent phenomenon. And while it's true that California's viticultural history is brief compared to several European countries, this state's roots date back well over 200 years. Due to the enormous response to California wine within the United States and worldwide, there are thousands of excellent and diverse wines being produced within the state each year.
