A fascinating whisky from the stocks of the long-dormant distillery which was just recently re-opened. This malt is loaded with pine and resin flavors, plenty of fruit, and a sweetness that is neither classic sherry nor vanilla. Everything I've ever tasted from Glenglassaugh is as mysterious as the distillery itself. Cryptic flavors that seem to almost reveal themselves get buried by the onslaught of another wave.
