This blend of 55% Sangiovese, 15% Canaiolo, 10% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot was fermented in stainless steel and aged in French barriques for seven months for added complexity. The nose is all about dark fruit and intense floral notes along with cocao, vanilla and spices. On the palate there is notable structure, full bodied and dense with evident tannin and a seriously pleasing finish.
