A potential sleeper of the vintage, this merlot dominated blend reveals an exuberantly fruity, lush wine with lots of blackcurrent, cherry, and plum-like fruit. Full-bodied and fleshy, it is ideal for drinking during its first 5-6 years of life. (4/ 2010)
The Garonne River flows at the southern edge of this Right Bank estate, located near the small town of Yvrac. Its 10 acres of vineyards are planted to 65% Merlot, 15% Can, 15% Cab Franc and 5% Malbec. Made by the esteemed Stephan Von Neipperg, Clyde loved this wine when he tried it, calling it a superb value.
