This is a creation of the very good negociant firm in Bordeaux, Jeffrey Davies Selections. It should elicit serious interest given its realistic pricing. A pure fruit bomb, so to speak, with a dark ruby/purple-tinged color and loads of mocha, black cherry and black currant fruit, it is all tank-fermented, aged on its lees for four months, and bottled early to preserve its freshness and fruit. Coming in at 13% natural alcohol in 2009, the wine makes for a mouth-filling, delicious, inexpensive introduction into something obviously very Bordeaux. (2/ 2012)
This rich and silky red offers great, spicy blackberry aromas that follow to the palate. Lively and vibrant, with lovely mid-palate flavors. And the best part is, you can drink it up now and enjoy. A superb buy for entertaining. 3L Box wine- while delicious, it can not be shipped.
Below is a listing of the wine review scores we frequently reference in our notes. While these sources remain an excellent source of information, we always recommend that you trust your own palate. Scores in these publications often represent the personal taste of an individual critic, which may not always coincide with your own.
