Floral and citrusy, this is packed with ripe fruit, feeling concentrated and dark in tone. It’s underlined by an earthy, sandy minerality, persisting with balanced aroma and length. (12/ 2011)
It takes a while for the full effect of the Gewürztraminer spice to show on this reticent wine. It has some attractive lychee flavors laced with a very light acidity. (12/ 2011)
A juicy white, easy-drinking and fresh, with flavors of apricot, black licorice, apple and spice. The clean finish shows a lingering hint of mineral. (11/ 2011)
The history of the Albrecht family as wine growers in Alsace goes back to the 1400s, and the current cellar dates back to 1772. An excellent aperitif wine, Albrecht's Gewürztraminer Reserve shows exotic flavors of lychee, spice, and rose petal. Slightly off-dry, it is also the perfect wine for spicy Asian fare.
