This is one of the finest fino's made today. Equipo Navazos continues to select barrels of their favorite sherries from their very favorite Sherry houses, and carefully bottles them with only the lightest of filtrations. As a result, these wines are not only among the region's best, but arguably some of the most exciting wines from Spain. A 20-barrel selection from the cellars of Valdespino from the Equipo Navazos crew, this is as rich and expressive, yet still classically saline and elegant, a fino as one could possibly hope for. Serious stuff for the curious imbiber or Sherry conocedor. This was bottled in December 2009.
