Bright red. Perfumed nose loaded with red cherry, floral and vanilla aromas. Fresh, pure and easygoing, with flavors similar to the aromas and a strong spice note of clove. Finishes with very light tannins and good spicy freshness. An ideal food wine. (4/ 2011)
Aromas of pink peppercorn lead to a juicy palate of cherry and plum notes, as a stony minerality accents the vibrant finish. Nero d'Avola, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. Drink now. (3/ 2011)
I usually don't try and counteract a review, but for the price you tell me if this isn't just a really good deal and worthy of more credit from the critics. A really super blend of 50% Nero d'Avola, 25% Merlo, 20% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Franc. See if you can find another wine like this! (Greg St.Clair, K&L Italian Wine Buyer)
