You can't miss the Mer Soleil Silver, which the Wagner family started bottling in a silvery-grey ceramin bottle in 2009 and reflects the stony minerality of their unoaked Chardonnay. The 2010 has a definite wet stone quality this year, with bright acidity and lemon, grapefruit and pineapple flavors. There's a softness at the edges that comes from cement tank fermentation, which keeps it from becoming too sharp. Fantastic with seafood and for anyone craving a fresh, crisp white.
