From the proprietors of Sonoma's Lioco winery, NoCo is an abreviation for "North Coast" and features wines grown in the areas surrounding Sonoma County. The summer leading to the 2010 harvest was the coldest on California's North Coast in 50 years, which resulted in a vintage with more drive and cut than we usually see in California wines. NoCo's Chardonnay has wonderful tension, with shiso, Kaffir lime leaf and oyster shell-like minerality on the nose and lemony, mineral and floral aspects on the palate. Refreshing and vibrant, this is a food-friendly wine that can transform nearly any season or occasion into summery fun.

Scores in these publications often represent the personal taste of an individual critic, which may not always coincide with your own.
