This delicious wine is from the much heralded 2009 vintage in the Southern Rhone Valley. Serve this wine at about 60 degrees and enjoy it with duck, roast beef or rack of lamb. Intense, deep ruby red with red brick reflections. Slightly roasted aromas with hints of coffee and licorice. Very well structured on the palate with round, forward tannins, ample spice and a touch of pepper. No decanting necessary. 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Cinsault. 14.5% abv.
