Catalan raconteur, mad scientist, tireless vino natural spokesman, and vigneron Laureano Serres brings you this blend of primarily Carignane (with some Cab and Garnacha). To Laureano there are very few rules, but a few would include: careful observation and work in the vineyard (no treatments), fermentations using indigenous yeasts, zero added sulphur during the winemaking process, and tasting wines (his as well as others') often. While I think the white wines have been more his forté, this is slowly changing as Laureano produces more reds. This one is superb: deep berry fruit shows a hint of meaty savor, as well as an intensity, purity, depth of flavor and acid balance which puts it amongst the tastiest vin naturel (from France, Italy, Spain or anywhere else) I have tasted this year.
