Another delightful wine from our favorite Iberian wine importer Luis Moyo of Vinos Unico. The Urbanite's Caliberico is a blend of 47% Verdelho, 35% Albariņo and 18% Torrontes from the Lodi AVA. When the fruit is picked early enough, it can have very similar acid levels and alcohol as the grapes' native Galicia and Vinho Verde, and as proof the Caliberico is just 12.6% ABV. Unique and refreshing, this has lime and lemon fruit, minerality and a slight floral quality. For fans of Spanish and Portuguese whites, or anyone looking for something light and crisp to drink. Perfect for spicy foods, concerts, and picnics in the redwoods.
