The Bonterra Cabernet from Mendocino and Lake Counties is made with certified organic grapes, which the estate has been growing since 1993. The 2009 vintage layers bright red fruits like cherries and currants with the spice and vanilla character of oak barrels. This has a nice wave of acidity and fine tannins making it an easy every day drinker now and over the few years.
