According to Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Over-delivers; excellent nose of spice box, incense, black fruits; easygoing, balanced, lengthy." (10/10) Grown in the stony, mountainous terrain of San Juan, north of Mendoza, Argentina, Alma Mora’s cab is wonderfully balanced, with notes of cherry, wood and dark fruit on the nose, leading to dark cherry, a hint of cola and subtly smoky flavors on the palate. There is even a hint of minerality present in this ridiculously inexpensive cab. As I know many of you will be curious, the wine is an honest, wonderfully balanced 13.5% abv. Any cab fan should take note here; this is a serious value for your consideration.
