90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The medium amber, nutty Napoleon Amontillado is a dry style sherry, also a fine aperitif." (02/07) According to the Wine Spectator: "Pungent, its iodine and molasses aromas pick up grilled almonds and walnuts and a hint of caramel on the palate, all supported by a lightweight, bracing structure. Drink now." What a terrific amontillado! Gently toasted nut and candied citrus aromas lead to a subtle, elegant, nutty palate. While the salty, flor qualities are not cranking on all cylinders here, there is an elegance, softness, and long finishing character to this amontillado that makes it one of the best deals in "brown sherries" we currently offer. Highly recommended.
