*Cellar Selection* One of the three properties owned by Marie-Laure Lurton, Tour de Bessan’s 2010 is a firm, smoky wine, dark and firm in character. It has weight, a solid and rich feel and a juicy black-currant note. The finish shows both aging potential and attractive fruitiness (2/ 2013)
Chewy and slightly rustic with intense tannins and mineral, berry and currant fruit. (4/ 2011)
33% Merlot, 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc. Mid cherry red. The classic combination of this vintage - plenty of fruit, just ripe, fresh and aromatic. More leafy on the palate but so refreshing and elegant, the tannins finely tuned. Good length too. (10/ 2012)
Clyde loves this property--watch it closely. This wine is full flavored and quite approachable for a 2010. Lots of toasy oak and red fruit flavors.
