Here, again, is a wine that speaks with a quieter voice while still finding defined varietal character. Its subdued themes of fresh pears and citrus are lightly accented with minerals and a wee bit of grass, and, if never one for great reach, it is well-balanced and clean and will do yeoman service with a wide range of lighter, warm-weather dishes. (3/ 2012)
Intensely mouthwatering, with grassy jalapeño notes that mix with lemon-lime flavors. (Web Only- 2011)
Here we have yet another delightful Sauvignon Blanc from our friends at Brander. The 2010 is crisp and bright with aromas of white flowers, stone fruit and grapefruit. It has a tangy, clean mouthfeel textured by a small proportion of barrel-fermented juice. This white is for fans of Sauvignon Blanc, for fans of food-friendly wines, and for fans of all things vinous and good.
