Offers good intensity of underripe white peach flavor and an attractive touch of sweetness. Drink now." (03/11)Some may perceive a lack of quality here, just because the Dashwood S.B. is priced so very low. That would be a big mistake. Once in a while a true value like this one crops up, and those who are willing to spend a lot less than they typically do for a bottle of wine are repaid in spades. It's got what you want (cut grass, gooseberries, crispness, acidity and refreshment) without even a hint of that overly tropical, Jolly Rancher or cat pee thing that plagues too many low end Kiwi whites. We are big fans of the Dashwood, and you should be, too!
