This wine is a blend of aragones (the name for tempranillo in southern Portugal), touriga nacional and trincadeira, fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel. Richly fragrant, with dark fruit and berry aromas leading to a nicely textured, sturdy red with good freshness. Plenty going on here without the need for oak ageing.
