93 Points Wine Enthusiast and an "Editors' Choice" designation... " A really wonderful Cabernet, clearly grown well and well made. It has that plush, rich feeling you want from Cabernet Sauvignon with deliciously ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, cassis and dark chocolate flavors. Terrific now, and should age 4-6 years." 5/10 Usually only offered at Buehler and to the winery's club members, this is a special bottling that fans of this winery shouldn't miss, especially from the excellent 2007 vintage. It comes from Buehler's oldest block of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the only one that's dry-farmed, on a steeply terraced knoll with an eastern exposure. The wines it produces is blue-black in color, with a nose evocative of black summer fruit--cherries and plums, in particular. In the mouth, the fruit is enveloped in a robe of velvety tannins, where it is full and counterbalanced by spice. Built for the long-haul, cellar this wine for 5, 10, or even 20 years, depending on the style of Cab you like.
