91-94 points Burghound: "A classic nose of oyster shell, tidal pool, iodine, green fruit and dried white flowers is very much in keeping with the concentrated, powerful and serious middle weight flavors that culminate in a sappy finish of superb length. This is impressive." (Issue 40) 91-93 points Stephen Tanzer: "(prior to 2008, the label said Fourchaume Vignoble de Vaulorent) Pale yellow-green. Penetrating, high-pitched aromas of seashell, lime, violet and licorice. Very rich, seamless and silky, with the mouthfilling texture of a grand cru. This large-scaled wine boasts terrific underlying structure and builds impressively on the very long finish." (Jul/Aug 2010)
