Steely and tight, with plenty of energy. A vein of mineral and a racy structure propel the lemon, apple and melon flavors. Balanced, with tension and a lingering flinty aftertaste. Best from 2012 through 2022. 70 cases imported
($39) Pale, bright yellow. Delicate, high-pitched aromas of violet, lavender and ginger. Then dense and primary in the mouth, with excellent breadth but a noteworthy light touch to its talc and crushed stone flavors. The ineffable high notes carry through on the palate of this very dry, subtly persistent premier cru. (7/ 2010)
