90 points Robert Parker: "(one of Ruston's) late release 2006s include the 2006 Cuvee Simone, a blend of essentially equal parts Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. In the nose, this dense ruby/purple wine offers up incense, Asian spice, plum, black currant, and pepper. The creative and provocative aromatics are followed by a juicy, rich, medium to full-bodied wine with lots of flavor, plenty of personality, and no hard edges. This is a beauty to drink over the next 7-8 years." We've enjoyed several wines from Ruston in recent years. Couple with this price reduction, this is certainly one of our top recommendations in the stores.
