91 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate (erobertparker.com): "Medium purple; pepper, cinnamon, smoked meat, blueberry, some elegance and complexity." (Oct 2010) 90 points Wine Spectator: "Very fresh - and youthful still - with bright violet, plum and black cherry fruit leading the way, followed by stylish notes of white pepper and iron. The polished finish has nicely integrated toast. Drink now through 2011." (05/10) This is awesome Syrah. Exotic, spicy and purple fruited aromas, with some sandalwood and orange pekoe notes, bring to mind good northern Rhone Syrah. Similar berry flavors on the palate are generous, but also wonderfully fresh, with moderate tannins and acidity perfectly balancing out the fruit. This is undoubtedly my favorite Kingston Family Syrah to date, and amongst the tastiest wines they have yet to produce." (Joe Manekin, K&L South American wine buyer)
