Woodford's newest limited release is finished in sugar maple casks, which are incredibly difficult to work with. Manufacturing barrels is a delicate and laborious task. These barrels are toasted rather than charred so as not to overwhelm this delicate whiskey. This is the fifth Master's Collection release and one of my favorite.
