Mer Soleil is the project of Charlie Wagner, son and protégé of Caymus founder Chuck Wagner. The winery's Central Coast Chardonnay comes from the Santa Lucia Highlands, where the sea and the sun work in consort to create a wonderful environment for the varietal. A California-style chardonnay with lots of up front tropical fruit, spice and a buttery-rich mid-palate.
