93 points from Wine Enthusiast: "A beautiful Cabernet, whose mountain origins show in the firm tannins and concentrated blackberry and black currant fruit. Notes of minerals and violets complicate things, as does rich oak. Very fine and delicious, but obviously needs time in the cellar. Should develop well over the next 6-10 years." (10/1/2010) And, according to Robert Parker: "The dark ruby/purple-tinged 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder reveals notes of lead pencil shavings, acacia flowers, black raspberries, and blueberries. Ripe and medium-bodied with a slightly clipped finish, it may develop more length with additional time in the bottle. Drink it over the next 10-12+ years." (12/09)
