93 points Wine Spectator: "Alluring aromas and flavors of citrus pâte de fruit, fresh apricot and a salty, mineral component mark this ripe yet slim Riesling, which is harmonious and approachable now, but will only improve with time. Drink now through 2036." –BS This shows a rich nose of juicy pineapple and white peach, a tick more concentration than in the Spätlese. On the palate the wine offers a lushly styled body, supported by racy acids. It offers much of the same notes that the Spätlese does, but it is delivered in a broader less filigreed fashion.
