90 points Wine Spectator: "This is a solid version, delivering grapefruit, apple and white pepper aromas and flavors. Racy and a bit severe right now, yet intense and persistent. Needs time to come together. Best from 2013 through 2022." (12/10) The biggest news at Rebholz in 2009 is that many of the wines have been officially certified organic! This dry Riesling offers a stony terroir in the nose, with lemon curd and lemon rind notes. On the palate it is textbook Rebholz Riesling, with persistent, piquant minerality, all drenched in lemon and lime citrus notes. The finish is so intense, with both broader stony notes and also a finer saltier minerality. A very reductive example of Dry Riesling.
