91 points Wine Spectator: "Lush yet delicate, displaying a silky mouthfeel and bright, focused flavors of baked apple, peach, quince and papaya. Offers excellent balance, with a bright, fluid acidity and a juicy finish, with notes of lemon curd. Drink now through 2022." From the importer: "More peach pit fruit in the nose here than in the Mönchhof Riesling, with more intense mineral and floral notes – very pungent spice notes. The aromatics are super. On the palate it offers pure white peach fruit, and is round and rich for a Kabinett. There are sufficient acids and fine red and grey slate minerals on the finish, but the wine’s dense, so it takes some time for them to push through."
