90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "The 2008 Langhe Nebbiolo shows gorgeous depth and purity in a core of dark fruit, spices and minerals. The finish is long and polished, especially for a wine at this level. This fresh, vinous Nebbiolo offers terrific balance and is a great choice for readers who want to begin an exploration into Nebbiolo one of the world’s noble grapes without breaking the bank. Once again, the Produttori have turned out what may very well be the very finest value in Nebbiolo, and all from young vines in Barbaresco to boot! Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016. I opened a bottle of this for lunch today. What a beautiful wine. This is an unsually plump, juicy Nebbiolo loaded with cherriess, plums, flowers and spices. Served slightly chilled, it is a wonderful summertime red, even on a broiling hot day in NYC. There is an element of sweetness I haven't picked up before that leads me to believe the Produttori might be using this wine to season some of their newer, larger casks, which would make perfect sense. In any event, this is a very pretty, entry-level Nebbiolo from young vines in Barbaresco." Antonio Galloni
