Buffalo Trace is one of the countries finest and most innovative distilleries. Their flagship brand "Buffalo Trace," represents one of the finest values of any of the American whiskey. This is yet another fine example of the benefits of the single barrel program. Single barrel whiskey can be both significantly better or worse then the flagship brand, as the goal of blending several barrels is to get the finest consistent product. Occasionally, we taste a sample that really gets us going and we have to drop the hammer! This batch exemplifies the Buffalo Trace brand, but with further depth, spice, texture, and greater length. Only 17 cases to go around of this fabulous little whiskey. Needless to say this is a very special bottle that should not be missed. -David Girard
