Dark red pitted fruits and a slighty herbaceous note open on the nose, leading to an expansive, elegant plum and cherry flavored palate, which shows a bit of Carmenere's trademark smokiness. Things open up considerably after the wine has a chance to breathe, with classically Carmenere flavors that are also much more generous and easy to like.
