*Sweet Spot Outstanding* This is also restrained and ultra pure with a similar white flower an spiced citrus nose that dissolves seamlessly into rich, full and beautifully detailed middle weight flavors that are textured and silky yet here the finish is even more intense, indeed almost to the point of being painful. I really like the energy and punch. (7/ 2008)
Musky aromas of ripe apricot, nut oil and smoke. Fat, sweet and rich, boasting superb volume and a round, seamless texture. This would be almost too much today were it not for the wine's solid underlying spine (the pH here is a low-for-the-vintage 3.21). I'd hold this at least six or seven years before pulling the cork. 93(+?) points (9/ 2008)
