Delicious whisky from one of the Spey's lesser known distilleries, this expression is bottled at cask strength and has a tremendous nose that leans towards the earthier aromas with hints of honey. The palate starts with a touch of sherry wood sweetness then the power of the undiluted malt comes through on the mid. The flavors are intense, almost like a cask strength bourbon, but the finish is loaded with dried fruit and spice. This is the March of single malts - in like a lion, out like a lamb. Very, very tasty.
