As young Thierry Pillot takes over the reins here, the wines get better and better. His careful work in the vineyard has paid big dividends, and the wines have lift, drive and terrific finishes. You will be extremely excited about this one, once you taste it! Burghound rates this Outstanding, writing: "A classic Chassagne nose of resin oil, straw, citrus blossom and a hint of soil that is more elegant than usual merges seamlessly into clean, bright, energetic and intense flavors that also enjoy excellent precision and vibrancy on the complex, linear and impressively persistent finish. Again, worth your attention." (07/09)
