92 points Wine Spectator: "Delivers currant, toasty oak and coffee aromas and fl avors. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a lot of rich fruit. Very polished and attractive. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best after 2012." (10/09) "This is a rich and luxurious coastal Tuscan blend that is wonderful to drink! The cabernet sauvignon gives the real direction and structure in this wine but the real star is the outstanding 2007 vintage! 2007 is reminiscent of the famous 1997 vintage but for me it has better balance and length. Just a little south of Antinori's famous Guado al Tasso, the Greppicante spends 1 year in French barrique giving it a polished and smooth finish. The winery suggests you have it with a Bistecca Fiorentina (Giant T-bone) I think it will go with even your favorite pasta!" Greg St.Clair K&L's Italian Buyer
