*Editors' Choice* This is a solid, finely perfumed wine, the tannins giving concentration and structure. There is some severity as well, a sign that it is still settling into the bottle. But with its bitter chocolate character and tight texture, it should age well. (4/ 2010)
Bright ruby-red. High-pitched aromas of blackberry, menthol, licorice and violet, plus a whiff of eucalyptus. Juicy, tight and on the lean side, with vibrant black fruit and licorice flavors accompanied by a slightly weedy green element. A bit extractive in style but not particularly fleshy. Finishes with slightly dry-edged tannins. This improved with air and maintained its verve. (8/ 2010)
Fruity and attractive, with mineral and berry character. Medium body, fine tannins and a clean finish. (Web-2008)
