A round, buttery style, yet feels more restrained than some of its peers. The oak is toned down, and there's a mineral streak along with lime and peach flavors. The finish is fresh. (8/ 2009)
Musky aromas of orchard fruits and lime lifted by minerals. Sweet and laid-back, with a high pitch to its lemon and lime flavors. Distinctly finer than the Chenevottes, with an almost Puligny-like texture and structure. Less expressive and more linear today, but also longer on the aftertaste. This rather tight wine could use three years of patience. (10/ 2008)
A subtle hint of pain grillé sets off a nose redolent of straw, peach, pear and crushed rosemary hints that continue onto the round, supple and very forward, indeed almost soft though the finish tightens up so that focus is maintained on the persistent finish. Again, this is attractive... (7/ 2008)
