Made by the great team at Pichon Lalande. Very small production here and only 100 cases or so to the USA. Toasty oak and tobacco aromas. Elegant and fruit forward on the palate. Delicious wine after decanting one hour. 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is from the young vines of Pichon Lalande. Great minerality on the nose with nuances of cedar oak. Soft and elegant on the palate, but good stuffing for the cellar. Good old-school Bordeaux-Clyde Beffa loves it.
