Amager Julebryg 2008 is a dark and rich beer with a light creamy foam. Despite the fullness and the abundance of malt, it is not fat or heavy, but somehow rich while also light and fresh. Some tasters will sense spices, but it is pure deception, absolutely no spices are added. Still, there is something Christmassy about this. It is pure malt paradise with lots of Münchner-and dark caramel malt, and plenty of brown sugar and cane sugar for the sweet tooth. 8% abv
