91 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. (02/08). While there was no tasting note given by Jay Miller from the Wine Advocate, the generous score is certainly justified, and I'd be more than happy to add some detail here. A nose of beet root and red cherry leads to a high-toned, higher acidity than normal mouthful of Garnacha from what is fast becoming my favorite region for this grape varietal, Cariñena. Delicious, natural tasting cranberry and tiny red berried fruits make this wine stand out from a very crowded field of Spanish Garnacha. Drink this with any variety of meat or poultry, though a bavette steak with crisp, roasted slices of fingerling potatoes sounds just about right (Joe Manekin, K&L Spanish wine buyer)
