90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Acústic is a blend of 55% Samso (Carinena) and 45% Garnacha aged for 10 to 11 months in seasoned French oak. Purple-colored, it offers up an alluring perfume of smoke, mineral, underbrush, blueberry, and black cherry. This is followed by a full-bodied wine with tons of blue and black fruit, spice and mineral notes, and enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years. It should be at its best from 2010 to 2018. It is an excellent introduction to the style of the region." (02/09) Back and every bit as tasty as the prior vintage, this staff favorite shows beautiful, black cherry and blackberry fruit aromas with extraordinary freshness, purity and lift on the palate. Winemaker, proprietor and NBA nut Albert Jane is making some of Montsant's best wines, and luckily for alll of us continues to charge a very reasonable amount for his efforts. We cannot recommend this beautiful wine highly enough.
