Pale yellow with greenish highlights and an intense floral bouquet with overtones of spice and fruit. The richness, balance and freshness of this wine make it an excellent example of its appellation. It is enjoyable young, but will age well for several years to come. It is grown in a mixture of volcanic rock and light, stony soil, either silica-based (mica-schist gneiss) or more alkaline (gabbro amphibolite greenstone). Its balance and freshness make it the perfect accompaniment to seafood and white meat dishes.
