By now no one is surprised to see yet another amazing value Argentinean Malbec, but for $6.99 this is just ridiculous. Doña Paula is the largest landowner in the Lujan de Cuyo sub-zone of Mendoza, and they use their immense vineyard holdings to great advantage in crafting what is undoubtedly the best value Malbec around. Soft, juicy, eminently drinkable Malbec, this has loads of cherry and plum fruit as well as a really wonderful texture (especially considering the price), which make this a great wine to buy by the case and have around for summer grilling and unexpected house guests.
