92-94 points Wine Enthusiast: " A rich, concentrated wine; the black fruits fit well into the solid, dark tannic structure and there’s a juicy aftertaste. An impressive performance, and a wine that will age well." 91-94 points Robert Parker: "Sweet plum, black cherry, and cassis notes intermixed with floral, licorice, spice box, and forest floor scents result in a complex set of aromatics. The wine possesses medium to full body, a round, gentle mouthfeel, ripe tannin, and fresh acids with no evidence of oak. This is a more restrained, less exuberant effort than Lascombes has produced in several recent vintages. Drink this impressively-endowed, well-made 2008 between 2011-2030+." (04/09) K&L's notes - *+ Blackish color. Bitter orange aromas and lots of extracted fruit flavors. Almost over the top, but well made. Toasty. Please note - 2008 Bordeaux futures are not in stock, but will arrive between Jan 2011 and Dec 2011 We will contact you for shipping instructions.
